The Pipe and Glass Inn

Travelling with Mamma and Dadda always involves lots of eating.  Dadda in particular finds any excuse to go off the beaten track in search of a pub or a restaurant with good reviews where we can all enjoy a peaceful and yummy meal...

..This time as we were travelling through South Yorkshire from one care home to another, Joyd had recommended we stopped in at the Pipe and Glass Inn...

.. and here was my first reaction at the sight of the super cosy country pub...

We were welcomed us with drink as we were seated in the lounge in front of the fire on very comfy armchairs...

The food was great and Mamma did well to bring along some of my favourite books to get through during our meal....

The place was soo fascinating and full of interesting objects... not to mention their incredible collection of ducks!!! Quack Quack!!

.... as Mamma and Dadda took turns to gobble their delicious meals up and chase after me at the same time we ended up having a few games of hide and seek...

Cookoo!!

Sadly... time did come for us to leave and go in search of more care homes around Hull...

... but not before said bye bye to all the sheep outside of the pub... there were sooo many... "uan, chuu, feeee, foo, faiv, theeeecs, theben, eiiit, naaain, teeeen!...."

... and while Dadda drove many more miles and Mamma saw many more care homes I made the most of the time to catch up on some sleep...

Stylish!!!

p.s.  Perhaps this might be a Mochi Sismondi trademark....
