Zollikon Pool

... we got taken away by all the snow and skiing and forgot to mention we've been attending the Zollikon swimming pool pretty religiously on weekends too!! Big pools, outdoor heated pools, medium sized play pools, baby pools.... even slides for all ages... 

There is plenty to do to keep us all happy in here despite the snow falling outside!!!

Just like with skiing, practice makes perfect... i reckon within a year I can get rid of these braccioli... wouldn't you agree?  Make it 2 max!

Best bit of swimming pool is after the shower and hair blower routine there is a nice pretzel waiting for me at the exit on the way home!!

And then it just gets better... there is no swimming pool morning session that isn't followed by a nice Spaghetti alle vongole!!!

I love this stuff!!

Snow Jumps

.... there are lots of ways to enjoy mountains and snow... 

You can dig little holes for yourself..

... you can share affectionate moments with your Mamma....

... or you can play snow jumps with Dadda!!!

.... Dadda ha preso il vizio delle bistecche cucinate e servite come da Hawksmoor a Londra (dove tra l'altro non mi ha mai portato) e cosi' a cena con i Nonni ci siamo sparati della ciccia niente male!!!...

Riempitemi il piatto e la pancia per favore!!

Greiffensee con i Nonni

Oltre a Nati e Juanpi che sono passati e spariti in un attimo a casa gia' da un paio di giorni avevamo Nonno e Nonna a farci compagnia.... La prima sortita assieme ce la siamo ritagliata il Sabato pomeriggio per fare due passi al lago ghiacciatissimo di Greiffensee.... un bel vedere!!

... come vedete c'e' ancora tanta neve e tanto freddo da queste parti!!  Qui mi avvicino a Daddy per dare un occhiata al lago da più vicino...

...mentre nel frattempo Nonno tiene "d'occhio" e sotto stretta marcatura la Nonna! 

Brrrrrr! Torniamo a casa al calduccio!

Nati & Juanpi in Zurich

...after a year I hadn't seen (and hardly heard from Nati) here she is popping out of nowhere!!! This time with her husband to by Juanpi!!!

We took a Saturday stroll with them in town...

...and then tucked into a nice place for breakfast and find out what this Juanpi guy is all about!!

Freezing Zwickau!

...we crossed half of Europe in our new Nissan Qashquai to go and visit Oma and Opi in Zwickau....brrrrrrrrr it is freezing here too!!!

Look!  The Mulde river is completely frozen...

... so frozen the ducks have to sit on the ice until they can wiggle around in the river again!!

It was nice and warm inside their house though and Oma and Opi stuffed me with food from the morning...

....to the evening!!

With -10C outside we were confined indoors during pretty much the entirety of our stay but that's OK... we found plenty to do... we watched Horton with Opi lying down on the sofa...

...we laughed...

...Omi Mali drew pictures for me...

..and I drew more pictures for Opi Wolfy!!

Time flies when you have good time and before we knew it, it was time to say Tschhhuuuuuuuuus!!!

....there is nothing else we care of on weekends than hit those slopes near home.... it's a little paradise here!

and I'm getting pretty comfortable on these skis!!

... and so is Mamma!!
