Thierry!!

... there was this friendly guy always hanging around Dadda in Zurich this week... who is he again?!

... he is a bloody well dressed chap and a damn good chat on the phone!!!

Familiarising with the Bahnhofstrasse

... as darkness came down and Mamma was preparing my bed I couldn't help but take a peak outside to explore what I understand to be my new surroundings...

... and finally a last flick through the daily pictures with Dadda!

Our New Home...

... day 2 of home hunting was a totally different story.  For a start the sun was high and warm brightening up a lovely springy day...  then Mrs. Frau Biert turned up in her Audi A3 with a comfy car seat for me too...

now we are talking business... so off we go to Kusnacht for our first property viewing of the day in Goldbacherstrasse 65.. without showing you more this is will become Mamma and Dadda's first choice and hence the shell that will shape my experiences from May 1st onwards...

... all of which a pretty steep 10 minute and 700m hike up from Kusnacht Goldbach train station which is located just 12 minutes away from Zurich Haubptbahnoff... 

We'll take that for now thank you very much!!!

Home Hunting Day 1...

... appointment with Mrs. Frau Biert at 10am in front of the Sweizerhof Hotel.. only problem is somehow it wasn't clear to our agent that I was coming too... so off went Mamma on her own to see flats while Dadda and I went off exploring the delights of our new home town...

... we event found a "Toro" in the old town before taking a midday nibble!!!

... I bet this beast could take a wurstel or two!!!

Mamma turned back from her personal home hunt and placed an application for one of 2 place she saw... and that Dadda wasn't particlarly convinced about... let's hope in more interesting places to be seen tomorrow!!!

Sprungli

... new places new customs... so we are told that brunch at Sprungli is the real deal... 

...the menu looks interesting... (yet bloody expensive)....

 ...and yes indeed it is both amazing and incredibly expensive!!!

On track...

... judging from the look on Dadda and Mamma'a face I guess you could say we are just on track...

..here we are right on Bahnhofstrasse right in front of Dadda's new office...

I get it....

... I see.... I get it... this place does have an appeal to me... ducks, swans, lakes and rivers... and lots of friendly people all over.. I can get used to this place!!

Lots of laughter over dinner at Zeughaushkeller...

...and so many interesting features to discover crossing the Limmat river that splits the old town in half...

Home Hunting in Zurich!!

... not even the chance to have a real go at my new train track and we're already off somewhere else.. Zurich it seems is our destination... home hunting?? What is wrong with our own house??

Better put a smile on and ask no questions...

...Mummy is in a good mood no doubt...

...and clearly Dadda planned this trip picking the very first flight out of London City...

.... look Dadda!  Look!  Lufzoig!! Aerio!  Aipain!!

...Sod it.. 1 our 30 mins to destination.. better take a kip as I get the sense of this trip already... it will be another marathon!!

... preparing for landing over our new home..

.... silver side, Zurich city or Golden side.. where shall we go?!

... we'll have time to work that out... let's get this gruffalo safely to our hotel first!!

Chuu Chuu Chrain....

... and as we got home Dadda reserved the greatest of surprises from Singapore... my brand new and very first Thomas the Train track...

...with Thomas and Percy trains steaming all engines!!

...Woooooooowwwwwwww!

Dadda is back!

... just when I almost thought my Dadda had turned his back to me for good.. he turned up at the house's footstep this Friday morning with a world of smiles and surprises....

.. and he even came to pick me up from nuffry (nursery) unusually early for a romantic stroll up the back streets of Hackney all the way to my favourite play ground off Columbia Road...

.... we had a world of a time... and finally I was let go of all my coat, scarf and hat!!  

... then a friendly Pakistani chap offered me a sweet that I took a good 10 minutes to chew threw while  Dadda took further advantage to bribe me on a luxurious trip home on a taxi!!

Welcome home Dadda!!

p.s.  Dadda notes that upon his return from 10 days in the Far East - despite expecting an indifferent and perhaps disturbed reaction from me - I reserved the greatest and bestest and cuddliest welcome for him and made him the happiest jet-lagged man in town...

Ba Ba Black Sheep!!

...I hear from Singapore that it appears they have taken one of my favorite songs to another level...

Asian Greetings...

... while Mamma and Oma Marli are keeping my busy and filling me with attentions it appears Dadda is having a pretty decent time in the Far East mingling with not only colleagues but with some family and friends too... apparently they all know me and greet me but I don't really recall any of them...

Cloee and Salvatore in Hong Kong say hi!... 

Rachel and Ryan treated Dadda to a fantastic dinner in the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore.. and also say hi!

...and finally Corinna and Michael from their phat flat say hi too.... what a nice view they appear to have.. 

Dadda when are we going to get a flat with a view that will allow us to open up the curtains!!!

Hackney Spring...

... Dadda might be far away in warmer climates but temperatures are improving here in Hackney too...

... feeling pretty springy in fact.. if Dadda was out here I'd be probably wearing a t-shirt and shorts but that ain't going to happen until oma and Mamma are around!!!

W horses...

Dadda tells me he missed me loads in Hong Kong and that everywhere he looked he saw something that reminded him of me...

Apparently the W Hotel in Kowloon was full of horses... one by the lift...

... life isn't about money bit it's a good 99% of it said great grandma Olga I suppose.. that message is being transpired to me through Uncle Leo who deposits a coin or two into my personalised piggy bank each time he pops round...

but this time... check out how big a coin I got!!

Life Changing Bubbles

...at first glance these may appear just like any other flutes with bubbles in them...  

...the reality is that these bubbles were consumed to celebrate a fairly important piece of paper that Dadda received from him company that confirmed he will start working in Switzerland....

... and guess what!?!  Mamma and I are going to join him out there as well!!
