With kindergarden over and more than a month before i start at Terranova, I'm making the most of the summer break and the glorious weather… often popping over for a swim at the Krafft's fine pool for a swim with Max!!!

…ultimo giorno in Alsazia… altra giornata spettacolare da goderci all'aria aperta!!

…anche se non ho potuto resistere ad un ultimo tuffetto dalla piscinetta all'interno dell'hotel!!!  Questa volta prendo coraggio per salire sulla piattaforma di 1 metro!!

Alsace Wonderland

Alsace is truly an amazing place… not only does it produce some interesting wines that caught Joyd and Dadda's attention…  the landscape, the villages and all the wonderful stalks flying about make this whole strip of land rather enchanting!!

Just could help ourselves from venturing out to explore Riesling and Gewürztraminer vineyards!

While Joyd and Dadda were sipping a few local wines to take back home Bertie & I went off to the Stalk Farm with our mummies!!

Then off to see Hunawihr & Riquewihr...

A lovely spot of lunch in a splendid restaurant selected carefully by Chez Mittra…

 put both of us kids off to sleep!!

But only to re-energise ourselves for a lovely afternoon in Kaysersberg!!

Off to Alsace for a long weekend...

Just over an hour and a half up north and we're in delightful Alsace... we're practically around the corner!!

Upon arrival at a cosy place to have lunch and meet up with the Mittras, Dadda and I found great pastures to stretch out legs out!!  

First one to the top gets an extra scoop of ice cream!!

Swings came in useful for Joyd & Bertie too!

...before Bertie started wondering off his own way..

... the drive through the hills was delightful..

...and every village looked out of a Disney movie like Maurice's house in Beauty & the Beast!

....this region is renowned not only for it's wines and villages but also for it's prominent stalks populating the rooftops and chimneys of many houses!
