Singing in the rain!

This May will go down in the books as the rainiest May I've seen in my lifetime... better wave the month goodbye and welcome June with a nice pizza in Don Leone!!

Seefeld Spielplatz

Picked up nice and early today (in fact have been for some time) since Mamma hasn't been going to work....

Lovely excuse to take her to my Mamma to my favourite spielplatz where we spent a lot of time with my Globegarden fellows!

Wintherthur Family Expo

....took advantage of a cloudy day to head off with the Floyd's to Wintherthur for some family planning...

Building Castles

....who wouldn't imagine how many activities one can get upto indoors!  Who would have thought I could build a whole castle in the living room?!?!

Pranzetto volante a Milano col Patio..

... di rientro dal matrimonio un salto a pranzo a Milano dal Patio (ormai in procinto di spostarsi a Londra)... ottima mangiata come al solito all'osteria Del Binari (Via Tortona 3)...

MIchael & Rozalia's wedding

Michael and Rozalia picked a lovely location in Nizza Monferrato for their wedding... the hotel was reserved and elegant, the setting was perfect... shame for the rain but that didn't get in the way for a memorable weekend for everyone!!!

The ceremony was followed by an evening gala event... Mamma displaying a nice outfit for her and baby...

...and Dadda rigorously prescribed to the Groom's orders of "Penguin" dress code only!!

... big meal for the parents meant loads of quality time or us kids to stay up and do things we wouldn't normally do at this time!!

Alba with the Krafft's

Before the afternoon wedding we made the most of heading off to Alba for a bit of shopping, black truffles (white ones are not in season yet!) and a lovely lunch with the Krafft's!

Pit stop in Varese...

... en route to Piemonte (Nizza Monferrato) for Michael and Rozalia's wedding we stopped in Varese for a nap... Dadda and I popped down to the bar well beyond "last orders" for a drop of grappa before going to bed!!

Best way to celebrate Daddy's birthday is with a nice Sprungli cake, a coffee and a few surprises...

...must admit it did put me off a little not to have a candle on my own donut!

Sofia & Alessio's 4th Birthday Party!

From one party to another.  This morning it was Claudia's time to celebrate.. now it's time to huddle around at Sofia and Alessio's house to celebrate their 4th birthday!!

Shame I can't dig into that cake but I'll find something else to get my teeth in no problem!!

They even got a clown to entertain us all in the afternoon which was a bonus too!

All the East German parts of the Floyd / Mochi Sismondi families were in town and respective grandmas got on well...

Partying with Omi & Opi

Mamma and Dadda went off for a romantic weekend in Istanbul without me... and in turn Omi and Opi came round to spend a great weekend with me in Zurich!

Looks to me like we had a pretty good time!!
