Thierry!!

... there was this friendly guy always hanging around Dadda in Zurich this week... who is he again?!

... he is a bloody well dressed chap and a damn good chat on the phone!!!

Familiarising with the Bahnhofstrasse

... as darkness came down and Mamma was preparing my bed I couldn't help but take a peak outside to explore what I understand to be my new surroundings...

... and finally a last flick through the daily pictures with Dadda!

Our New Home...

... day 2 of home hunting was a totally different story.  For a start the sun was high and warm brightening up a lovely springy day...  then Mrs. Frau Biert turned up in her Audi A3 with a comfy car seat for me too...

now we are talking business... so off we go to Kusnacht for our first property viewing of the day in Goldbacherstrasse 65.. without showing you more this is will become Mamma and Dadda's first choice and hence the shell that will shape my experiences from May 1st onwards...

... all of which a pretty steep 10 minute and 700m hike up from Kusnacht Goldbach train station which is located just 12 minutes away from Zurich Haubptbahnoff...

Home Hunting Day 1...

... appointment with Mrs. Frau Biert at 10am in front of the Sweizerhof Hotel.. only problem is somehow it wasn't clear to our agent that I was coming too... so off went Mamma on her own to see flats while Dadda and I went off exploring the delights of our new home town...

... we event found a "Toro" in the old town before taking a midday nibble!!!

... I bet this beast could take a wurstel or two!!!

Mamma turned back from her personal home hunt and placed an application for one of 2 place she saw... and that Dadda wasn't particlarly convinced about... let's hope in more interesting places to be seen tomorrow!!!

Sprungli

... new places new customs... so we are told that brunch at Sprungli is the real deal... 

...the menu looks interesting... (yet bloody expensive)....

 ...and yes indeed it is both amazing and incredibly expensive!!!

On track...

... judging from the look on Dadda and Mamma'a face I guess you could say we are just on track...

..here we are right on Bahnhofstrasse right in front of Dadda's new office...

I get it....

... I see.... I get it... this place does have an appeal to me... ducks, swans, lakes and rivers... and lots of friendly people all over.. I can get used to this place!!

Lots of laughter over dinner at Zeughaushkeller...

...and so many interesting features to discover crossing the Limmat river that splits the old town in half...

...
