Aha, of course, Christmas is coming up soon!! This year I can contribute at last to get all the balls, lights and decorations on the tree!!

A Chiswick con lo Zio Fabio

Dopo un bel pranzetto a Chiswick High Street con Fabio, Clare e lo Zio Leo e sotto ad un timido sole autunnale ce ne siamo andati a fare due passi per negozi...

Mi sentivo particolarmente in vena per fare il biricchino prendendo di mira lo zio Fabio...

Cosi' dopo alcune provocazioni mi sono messo a correre per istigare Fabio a rincorrermi!!

..

Ebbene dopo pochi passi Fabio era gia' alla rincorsa come farebbe un gatto al topo!!

Mannaggia pero' dopo poco ero gia' in trappola!!

Dop la corsa ho approfittato per rifiatare su un divanetto davanti al vecchio cinema mentre le signore erano indaffarate a guardare le vetrine!!  

E poi tutti a casa a riscaldarci davanti al fuoco!!

When overexcited it's easy to get caught offside.. For reasons I honestly cannot quite remember I hit Mammin which clearly she didn't take particularly well...!!

Once back at Fabio's house we made up though!! ;-)

Pub lunch at Bumpkin with some old friends!!

What delight to have a bunch of good old friends around the same table... Bumpkin in Notting Hill was a suitable location granting us a large enough table to squeeze the Bertholds, the Brinkmann-Schwalbes, uncle Leo, Sacha and all of us of course!!

Quite a lot going on at first with everyone excited to be altogether and us kids very eager to get fed!!

Here is Julian (Zvi) having a sip of juice... wow he's grown so much since we last saw him last in Zurich for NYE last year!

The mums hit off quickly... 

Once fed, laughed and giggled, modern communication devices took over to capture our focus...

A trip down memory lane...

...on a typically grey day we did our very best to visit all the tourist spots in town and of course our very favourite spots of the city!!

In true "tourist" mode... we couldn't avoid a picture in a phone box which in the era of Iphones I was born in, is nothing more than an unnecessary box of steel for most people!!!

Sitting on top of a double decker bus, on my own and at the very front to suck in all the views and bring back memories from the past..  sitting next to a perfect Londoner, i.e. a chap that couldn't have come from anywhere in the world!!

...a little later Dadda pointed out an important landmark of town... St. Thomas' Hospital.. where I was born just under 4 years ago!!

...Believe my folks it's not always as it says on the tin, there is no such thing as "FREE cash withdrawals"...!!  I tried it personally!!

Of course we couldn't avoid taking a stroll into Hackney to meet up with a Foxton's agent who let us in to the property we lived in until a year ago and now looking to sell... Just the time to wiz through the place from downstairs...

...all the way up to the roof in a few seconds before closing the door behind us for one other appointment (who know what it's like in London.. everything is always done in a rush!!)...

The day wasn't complete before arriving at Charlotte Court for a spot of dinner with a few good old friends!!

Back in London!!

....we took a late flight and had further delays on our way into London so it was pretty late when we  made it to Fabio & Clare's house... 

For as much as I like travelling I wasn't on top of my game the next morning due to lack of sleep!!

Räbenlicht at Globegarden

... a lovely evening organized by my Globegarden kindergarden lighting up räblis (a kind of root) into candles and singing along the streets of Seefeld with teachers and my fellow friends....
