... sempre bello farsi due risate con lo zio Leo!!

Syon House

Before flying back home Fabio & Clare took us down to Syon House where none of us had been before... 

Fabio & I started off with a few kicks to the ball... rigorously on a blatently prohibited lawn in front of the National Trust site!

...then we moved on to a session of kicking the leaves!!

...and then we were off playing catch

I did my very best to get myself as dirty and muddy as I possibly could...

...and finally before boarding Mamma tried cleaning herself and then attempting (with moderate success) to make me presentable in front the Swiss air staff members!!

See you soon London... not sure when though!!

Tino in the West End

... on the Saturday while Mamma and Clare hit the shops, Dadda took me out to Chiswick where a couple of friends were finishing off their 9 hole game...

Fabio you are putting the wrong way!!

Looks like Manu is the winner!

Then we met Mamma and Clare in Chiswick High Street for a bite and a stroll...

...on uncle Leo's shoulders!

London.. I'm back!!

Good to be back at Charlotte Court to catch up with Leo and the Italian gang!  Carletto was very tired but well happy to see me!!  

.. Manu & Fabio popped in to say hi too!!

Can I used the toilet please Leo???

The following night we had a few guests round for a Hawksmoor steak party.... Fabio, Thierry and Faiz came round with all the ladies too!!

Mastering Skis

Despite the cold (-10 C) we set off bright and early towards Oberiberg again...

Dadda had booked an instructor for a private 2 hour lesson for Mamma and I... shame I only lasted 10 minutes before rebelling to take any further instructions!!! 

... while Mamma was finishing off her lessons I messed around with Dadda playing on the sledge and took several attempts at skiing at my own pace too!

The day was cold but spectacularly sunny and dry...

Then eventually I felt like taking the lift again and going for an afternoon session on my own...

 Feel much more confident on my day on the slopes!!  ... The world is my oyster!!!

...it's nice to have Leo around from time to time to spend some quality time with me!!

My first Skis!

Inevitably the day had to come to try out skiing!! Having sledged around for a few weeks and catching glimpse of other kids my height skiing on their own I asked Dadda to let me have a go too.... so off we went to Oberiberg to try it out!

So here are my first skis!!  

....so how do I move!?

Going up the lift was pretty smooth!!

...amazing what things we can get up to here in the Swiss Alps... makes me wonder what we got up to back in London!?

It was Mamma's first day on skis too..  things could only get better for the two of us!!

Falera

It continues to snow a lot in Switzerland so we decided to make the most of it and hit the slopes again!  Having just seen Julian & family leave us the day before to join Katrin's family in Falera we decided to go and explore those mountains!

There was sooo much snow... look how Dadda got stuck in fresh snow!!  Let me try too...

...heeeelp! My arms are stuck in the snow!!

...it can get scary when you can't pull your limbs out of the snow but it can also be a good laugh too!!!

It was freezing cold out there so we stopped for another "healthy" meal in a warm and welcoming hut on the slopes.. Dadda, while enjoying his beer, is starting to talk about picnics and packed lunches to be consumed in future to avoid entering establishments like this serving fries with every dish.. Oh no!!!!

No better way to digest that to grab our sledge and tear down those slopes again...

... ci siamo fermati per un boccone in una folkroristica baita in cima alla montagna di Hoch Ybrig!

Poi viiiiiaaaaaaaa di nuovo con lo slittino trainato da Daddino!

...e poi tutti e due sopra fino a valle!!
